“Slaughterhouse” Sue Wallis Fails at Interpreting Proposed Bill
"Yummmm, horse meat taste good! Slaughterhouse like horse meat!"
With vision clouded by ignorance, narrow-mindedness, prejudice and lack of morals Wyoming State Rep. “Slaughterhouse” Sue Wallis and her main squeeze Dave “Doink” Duquette got themselves so wrapped up in another state’s business that they failed to even read or understand a proposed bill that was voluntarily withdrawn.
Maine State Representative, Gary Knight, had proposed a bill, LD 1075, which would ban the selling of and transporting of horses to slaughter AND contained a provision for a registry that would track ownership of horses that were to be exported from the state and there was a $5,000 penalty for failing to register said horses.
The issue of the registry and associated $5,000 dollar fine became a lightning rod for negative public opinion so Rep. Knight voluntarily pulled the bill.
As reported by the Bangor Maine Daily News:
‘Rep. Gary Knight, R-Livermore Falls, said he will resubmit the bill next winter. “This will now give me time to create a cleaner bill,” he said, referring to his wanting to remove language that didn’t reflect the measure’s original goal.
Knight said all of the registration provisions will be removed from the next bill. He said they were unacceptable to many in the equine industry.
“I must have received more than 300 angry emails and calls,” he said Friday.’
“Slaughterhouse” and Doink have taken this to be some sort of victory for the bloody horse eaters and have released a communiqué to the seven? (7) members of their fringe horse eating cult extolling the “laying aside” of the bill and commending a 77 year old citizen who not only did not understand the intent of the bill but never testified to begin with.
This is yet another clear example of the perversion of the truth and lack of honesty exhibited by Wallis, an elected Wyoming official, and Duquette, an obscure alleged horse trainer, via their questionable organization the United Horsemen formerly known as the controversial, but better named, United Horsemen’s Front. (Let’s check that 990)
Inserted, below, is Slaughterhouse’s bulletin and the letter from an elderly main citizen that United Horsemen decided to mislead and victimize, it’s enough to make you vomit.

Good News from Maine…
Yesterday we received word that the bill in Maine, LD 1075, that would have made consuming horse meat a crime, and prevented transport of horses, was laid aside and will not be taken up again this year.
Last night I received a phone call from Clayton Weeks of Mexico, Maine, who had contacted us earlier when he became determined to fight the bill’s passage. He thanked us for our assistance, and for providing information that was very useful in their efforts. Fortunately, the horse industry in Maine came together to put enough pressure on the Legislature to prevent it advancing, so Mr. Week’s testimony was not required.
Word has it that the sponsor intends to bring a revised bill next year, so Clayton is keeping his testimony ready. His is the sort of testimony that is far more prevalent than most people realize, and is straight from the heart. I felt it was well worth sharing….

MY TWO DAUGHTERS WENT AHEAD AND RAISED THERE FAMILIES OF WHICH ONE OF MY GRANDSONS SERVED TWO TERMS IN IRAQ.THANK GOD HE RETURNED SAFELY.
I FEEL THAT WE HAVE EARNED OUR RIGHT TO EAT HORSE MEAT IF WE SO DESIRE. I STRONGLY FEEL THAT THIS BILL WHITTLES AWAY AT OUR FREEDOM.

My heart goes out to Mr. Weeks for the trials and tribulations that he has been forced to endure but even more so for being duped and used by one of the most deceptive and despicable politicians in the United States, Sue Wallis. It is understandable that she is under investigation for complaints of alleged fraud and currently being sued for alleged assault the negative hits just keep on a rollin for the ole Evil Princess of Horse Slaughter.
And last but not least, shame on the State of Wyoming for not taking action against this loose cannon of a legislator. Wallis only brings bad press and negative vibes to a state that is already eyeball deep in equine hypocrisy and collusion.
It’s time they cut their losses and run.

Straight from the Horse's Heart 
There seems to be some confusion as to the use of the word FREEDOM. Freedom to eat what you want is not the same as Freedom to subject a helpless animal to suffering.

Yep you are right it did make me wanna puke…….I cannot believe the shear ignorance, I really cant, What kind of mentality talks like that???? Horses have forever been our prestigious allies, also nothing but nothing Presents the true meaning of Freedom like they do !!! One only has to be near one to feel their Magic, oh yes they are magic also….. Nature has made them strong dispite all the horrors they are forced to endure…………………..They have touched hearts that were in peril and brought many back from the brink………. They have a healing power that no pill can repute………These stupid ignorant people need to just stop this insanity really look , these beauties are our Future and our past …………..They need to get their greedy faces out of thier butts…………………….Only a fool cannot see the true Value of all of our horses………..

I read their big breaking news bulletin when it came into my emails and just laughed and shook my head. They both really need to quit talking. Dave can only think of how to string together more obscenities and SS obviously doesn’t have a brain cell floating around anywhere in her body.

Once everyone wakes up from this continuing laugh fest – work to get the issue on the ballot. Take the decision out of the hands of spcial interests and paid “lawmakers.” California passed Proposition 6 on 1998! I know it takes a while for the rest of the nation to realize things can and will improve, but now is better than maybe never. Don’t worry about these strange humans (who must have been incarnate of the trolls under the bridge – scaring and eating baby goats). Keep the goal of safeguardng our horses and burros foremost. Put the issue on the ballot. Look what happened to HR503 (despicable stalling)! If you need a copy of the actual proposition to see the simple all encompassing language – google Proposition 6 – California. Every state can do this – for the cost of registering the initiative. Every horse person worth their salt will help – it will be in their court. And every decent American will vote to protect them! Our people are kind, compassionate people – unlike those who supposedly represent them. Take the issue to the people!!!

The only problem with Prop 6 is that it has no funding and no teeth. I think you could not find anyone who has been charged let alone convicted under this law. I would suggest that funding for enforcement come from fines and confiscating the trucks and trailers and other assets from companies breaking this for now meaningless law.

Around Easter one of our radio stations aired a program, questions and answers about Easter. One question was why we eat ham. During his answer he talked about clean and unclean foods and happened to mention that equines were considered unclean food. So I looked it up and below is what I found. Now in a previous post Wallis mentioned feeding horse meat to our school kids and people in prisons. Now there is one person in prison, that I would like to be there when he gets to the pearly gates and have my finger on the elevator button that will send him straight to Hell. But I wonder if these people are aware of this or are they Anti-Christ, barbarians, pegans, or what.

My goodness. If this poor old fellow’s non-relavent testimony is the best the Sue and Dave can come up with, they’re really, really scraping the bottom of the barrel. Just because someone ate horse meat to keep from starving to death 50 years ago doesn’t mean that slaughtering horses today is a good, practical, or healthy idea.
If she weren’t leaving so much damage in her rather substancial wake, what Sue Wallis says and does would be nothing more than laughable… and even moreso, a bit pitiful. (If I saw her behind me in a store checkout line, I’d likely let her go in front of me, thinking that I was doing something nice for a mentally disabled person. I’m not kidding any.)
I know that Wyoming is sparcely populated, but really!- Is it SO sparcely populated that there’s no one more intellectually prepared to fill that position than [gag] Sue Wallis? Really?? The bile doth riseth in my throat!

I took a look at the bible study list of “clean/unclean” animals to eat… I could make it real simple and reduce the list to “Animal, Vegetable, Mineral”. I’m sure the one in the middle has no “taboos” or prohibitions, or negative “spiritual” consequences.
And I do strongly agree with Elaine Nash – Just because something was done 50 (or 5000) years ago doesn’t mean the practice is sound or justifiable today.

I feel for Mr. Weeks. My neighbor ate horse meat in WWII. She lived in Europe. It was that or starve. And no today she doesn’t eat horse.
I wish SS would go away.

I find this Wyoming official’s capacity to exploit an elderly man’s hard luck story equally as disgusting as her bold, ill-conceived crusade to cash-in on the suffering and death of horses. It’s just plain shocking. Thank you for continuing to expose the promoters of horse slaughter!

No matter your opinion of the measure – the fact is it is LAW and enforceable. One of the problemd is the damned loophole allowing kill buyers to resell to avoid the transport to slaughter. But if every state had a ban on slaughter or sale of horsemeat – the net would draw tighter. What changes need to be written in? Right now – there is no protection other than in California and I think Texas. Something is better than nothing and certainly better than beating one’s head against a walrus and a dufus.

The only thread that I see running through this sickening replay is MONEY. It’s not about too many horses or how horses helped people survive in the past…but it’s all about who will make money off of horses. Specifically, the killing of horses. They don’t even care where the butchered horses go…Mexico, Canada…they just want a piece of the action and because they are politicians, they want it legally. Insidious.

My grandparents, and their children lived threw the wars and the depression, they did not eat their horses. It depends how you look at your horses…friend and helper or a side of beef. Sue Wallis and friends…. all they see are dollar signs.
